For many years, we assumed that Elsa Schiaparelli's famous Bowknot sweater had been knitted by Intarsia. Not so.
Armenian Knitting was used; the motif color is carried throughout the plain part of the garment (trapped across the back) until it is needed. A large and exciting window of design possibilities opened for us when we became aware of this technique.
You will find Joyce's Knit/Purl pullover, Olive Branch, and Lily Jacket. Plus, from Meg, two versions of a Monarch pullover and three vests: Butterfly, Cossack and Flower. We get you started with three hats for practice.
You will also find some innovative garment shaping; all techniques described fully including three choices of how to trap.
