Cholis are tight fitting Indian tops that are worn under saris. They can be very simple or very elaborate. They are characterized by a decorative border on the bottom of the body and the sleeves. This twinset starts with a short-sleeved top that is inspired by an Indian choli. It is fitted through the use of a ribbed lace on the bottom of the body and the sleeves.
The other piece of the twinset is a rectangular shawl that uses the same lace stitch pattern. The shawl is worked in the same weight of the yarn but on a much larger needle.
7 skeins of "Swirl DK" needed to complete the shawl measuring approx. 30" x 72" blocked
