Swathe your shoulders with a hug from Oregon. A native Oregonian, Joan Schrouder designed this shawl using knitterly techniques and a clever corner ploy devised by Sandy Terp and adapted with permission. The traditional Shetland lace patterns replicate the beauty of Joan's beloved Pacific Northwest: lush, verdant Douglas firs, churning green rivers and cascading waterfalls that flow to the mighty Pacific Ocean. The finished shawl measures approximately 72" across after blocking and requires 10 skeins of Knit One Crochet Too's "Douceur et Soie" to complete.
