Author Anne Akers Johnson has included size 8 U.S. bamboo needles, an aluminum crochet hook, a yarn needle, 2 buttons and enough yarn to make several of the smaller projects in the guide or the cute hat or the narrow scarf. (Other projects are 2 purses, a cell phone sock, and a sunglass case.) The only other items required are a pair of scissors and sewing needle & thread for some of the projects.
