Sprout Sweater & Hat (Free) Print this pattern on your printer. Designer Elaine Brody's little sweater & hat set is a quick, easy knit in organic "Sprout" yarn by Classic Elite. She worked the sweater in reverse stockinette stitch since the purl side highlighted the nubbly texture of the yarn better. The hat is knitted in the round with the knit side out because most folks prefer knitting to purling. When the hat is complete, you just turn it inside out to match the sweater. Then you top it with a little flower-type motif worked by casting on and then binding off stitches to form five petal-like loops. Pattern provided courtesy of Classic Elite.
