    "Potluck Worsted Wool" Yarn

Here's the original Cherry Tree Hill creation that started it all! It's the "Potluck Worsted Wool" six-pack superhank that's a remarkable 1680 yards of luxurious hand-dyed 100% worsted wool, put up in six color matched potluck hanks.

"Potluck" yarns are unique, dyed in Cherry Tree Hill's wonderful "luck of the dyepot" method. That means that each Potluck set is unique unto itself, and the color will never be exactly duplicated again in subsequent productions. And although the 6 individual hanks in the "six pack" are dyed together, they are more "fraternal" than "identical." Sometimes one or more may appear to be quite different. So you can use the entire hank for one large project, or break it up into six individual projects.

In order to get the best spread of color, it may be necessary to alternate balls, especially when knitting matching sleeves, for example. At other times, it's most fun to let the yarn speak for itself and this works wonderfully when concentrating color, as in entrelac or intarsia or knitting felted items which pulls the color as they felt.

All in all, this is one of the most remarkable yarns you'll ever come across. Once you've tried it, you'll understand why it has near cult status with fans of this amazing yarn.

Cherry Tree Hill "Potluck Worsted Wool" is custom milled in the USA. "Potluck Worsted" six-packs are available on a limited basis. Subsequent shipments will not look as currently shown, even if the color name remains the same.
