Your favorite little girl or boy will love this baby kangaroo and its mommy for snuggling and playtime. Easy shaping and straight- forward finishing details make this one a good beginner's project. But since Mom is large, why not start with the baby joey and work your way up from there? Finished Sizes: Mother--15" tall; Baby Joey--4.75" tall The pattern leaves the choice of yarn up to the knitter, so we've selected super soft "Aurora 8" from Karabella with Rowan's "Hanknit DK Cotton" for the finishing details. You can also use black embroidery thread for the finishing if you prefer. Please buy separately 1 pair of 10mm (3/8") toy safety eyes, 1 pair of 14mm (1/2") toy safety eyes, washable polyester toy stuffing, and black sewing thread and sewing needle. PLEASE NOTE: Instructions included to adapt the Mother pattern to complete the set with a father kangaroo. Buy just 1 more ball of the main color, and you'll have enough.
