After watching the movies March of the Penguins and Happy Feet, you're young children or grandchildren are probably fascinated with penguins. You know they'll love this baby and mommy penguin set. Don't be surprised if you end up walking like a penguin around the house during playtime! The mommy is about 6.5" (16.5cm) tall, the baby is about 4.5" (11.5cm) tall. The number of toys you can make from one (100g) skein of worsted-weight yarn varies, depending on how tightly you crochet. She usually gets two to three sets of the larger toys, and many of the smaller toys from just one skein of the main color. Although no specific yarn was suggested, we recommend using Berroco's "Comfort" yarn, an economical, machine-washable yarn that's available in a large selection of colors. PLEASE NOTE: Pre-selected color choices may not match the photo because a color may be temporarily out of stock or discontinued by the manufacturer.
