Chancay Morning Shawl
For an outstanding shawl project, lace designer Carol Rasmussen Noble chooses Cherry Tree Hill's "Suri Lace" in order to represent the lovely textiles produced by the Chancay, an ancient Peruvian tribe. Using a stylized Shetland lace pattern, Cat's Paw, Carol combines fine knitting, a small motif and a subtle colorway for an understated yet luxurious, elegant shawl. This piece is a versatile square that can also be worn as a headscarf or folded in half and draped decoratively around the neck. 37" by 37" after light blocking.
This elegant scarf is one of 13 stylish patterns featured in the book by Carol and Cherry Tree Hill founder Cheryl Potter. Check out their book: Lavish Lace
