Striped Snake		Striped Snake Now here's a fun gift for children who love slithery, crawling things. What better toy pet than a "non-poisonous" reptile to wind around their arm and snuggle in bed with! The pattern is easy and can be made easier yet by knitting the snake in just one color. We like the striped version best though and have included those yarn quantities in the "Shopping List." (You'd need 80 grams for the solid-colored option.) The pattern calls for any DK-weight yarn, so we've selected the classic "Handknit DK Cotton" from Rowan because it's cuddly soft and machine washable and dryable. PLEASE NOTE: Purchase separately scraps of green and black felt, a sewing needle with black thread, and washable polyester toy stuffing.
