Basic Dog Sweater		Basic Dog or Cat Sweater Additional Image(s) (Click to enlarge) Basic Cat Sweater Great project to choose as your first dog or cat outfit because the fit is straightforward and basic. Any worsted weight yarn will work for this project, but we've selected Rowan's "All Seasons Cotton" as the ideal choice for those cool weather jaunts. With 60% cotton and 40% acrylic, you get a comfy, lighter weight feel. Also you have over 35 solid colors to choose from along with 5 variegated versions! PLEASE NOTE: Preselected color choices for this project may not match photo. Also the pattern lists circular needles for this project (included in the "Shopping List"), but you can substitute regular straight needles if you prefer. You do need the double-pointed needles for the turtleneck, the leg openings and the bottom edge. Yarn quantity in the "Shopping List" is given for a Small (finished chest circumference of 14 1/2"). For larger sizes, buy: 5 balls for a medium or large (19" to 24 1/2" chest and 16" to 21" long) 7 balls for an extra-large (28" chest and 23" long)
