These felted ornaments are knitted in garter stitch outlined with eyelets, then felted. Leave them plain, or embellish them with buttons, beads, or ribbons. They make terrific tree ornaments or as tie-ons to dress up presents, and they make great gifts too! One ball of each color of yarn will make many ornaments. They're knitted using Cascade's "Cascade 220" yarn, finely crafted in Peru of 100% pure wool and especially fabulous for felting projects of all kinds. PLEASE NOTE: Pre-selected color choices may not match the photo because a color may be temporarily out of stock or discontinued by the manufacturer. Please purchase the following items separately 1/8" ribbon (or cording) to either embellish or make a hanger for the ornaments, beads or buttons, and matching sewing thread to attach beads or buttons. Also note that if making the star, you will also need Size 11 double pointed needles in addition to the Size 11 straight needles.
