The crown of the hat is crocheted in a pentagon and the sides of the hat are granny squares that are cleverly attached to the pentagon to form a patchwork pattern. It's crocheted using Classic Elite's "Liberty Wool Print" yarn, crafted in Italy of 100% washable wool and available in gorgeous multi hues. Best of all, the pattern is free with the purchase of two balls of Liberty Wool yarn.
