The yarn quantity in the "Shopping List" is for a small (finished size 16" wide by 12" long) to medium-sized dog. The method for enlarging the pattern is included, and for a large or extra large dog, buy 1 additional hank to be sure you have enough yarn. Also purchase 4 buttons separately.
