Here’s a generously sized felted tote bag in an unusual shape created with "Merino Worsted" yarn from Malabrigo. The bag was designed by Sandra VanBurkleo for the 2010 TKGA pattern design competition. There are two variations, a closed bag with a fold-over buttoned flap, and a more open style with fold-over buttoned tab. Both are made from big modular squares and have wide, adjustable straps. They hug the body quite nicely. When strap is buttoned to the longest position, the bag can be worn cross-body, which is particularly secure when traveling. Choose funky buttons to complete the look.
