Crochet Bags are fun to work and they are useful in many ways around the home. The two drawstring bags shown here might hold guest soap and bathroom accessories which could be hung on the back of the bathroom door or looped on to a towel rail. Crocheted in other colors of yarn, the bags would be perfect for daytime or evening wear purse to accommodate essential items such as keys, tissues, a makeup bag - or even a paperback novel - with ease. You could also fill it with "girly" stuff and use it as a gift bag for a special lady. The pattern only specifies a DK weight cotton or ribbon yarn, we recommend using Rowan's "Cotton Glace" yarn, a smooth, soft cotton yarn with a natural sheen. PLEASE NOTE: Pre-selected color choices may not match the photo because a color may be temporarily out of stock or discontinued by the manufacturer. Quantities in the shopping list are for 1 bag measuring approximately 7.5" round the widest part and 11" from top to the center of the base.
