It has a self-covered button closure and an atttached, braided strap with tassels. It's the perfect size purse to toodle around town with - so you will probably want to make several for yourself, or as gifts to give. It's knitted with Bergere de France's "Baltic" yarn, a wonderful fiber blend of 60% acrylic & 40% nylon.
