This set is made with the simplest of stitches in sumptuous "Pure Silk" yarn combined with silk ribbon give an antique heirloom effect. The coat yoke is in firm single crochet, with the sleeves and skirt in double crochet trimmed with eyelet bands and finished with a tiny shell on the cuff and a deep lacy flounce at the hem. You can button it at the back or at the front. The bootees and hat involve the same stitches as the coat and are very simple to make.
