Now we are enthusiastically endorse the looser fitting, longer length tunic for easy fit and overall comfort plus the tunic is so flattering for a wide range of body shapes and sizes. But how are some of our favorite knitwear designers interpreting this trend? Are they following through with it or giving this classic their own special twists as we usually expect? First off, we know we can count on the creative design team at Rowan to create innovative, stylish garments and accessories, and their new Rowan Studio Issue 24 lives up to our expectations with the free-flowing Kidsilk Haze Margo Tunic. This airy layering top has a wide neckline that drapes in a cowl shape while the front edge comes to a point and drapes down the center. The layering options are endless with this one, and this tunic is so creative that no wonder it was selected to be featured on the cover of the booklet!
Also featured in the latest Norah Gaughan collection is the stunning Seduce Levanto Tunic. Lace insets on the sides create a flowing shape that is soft and flattering. This tunic is so versatile that you can wear this as a tunic, a dress or even as a beach cover-up. The drape is fantastic and the fabric is cool and silky. And we must include a project for those mini-fashionistas who want to stay up with the latest trends too. So take a peek at just how adorable and stylish your favorite young girl will look in the Sprout Peplum Tunic. This adorable top is perfect for layering with a short cardi or worn as a vest over her favorite tee or blouse. Its tunic length also makes it ideal as a long tank top with a wide ruffled edge almost like a dress would have. When Crystal Palace owner Susan Druding decided to enter the ruffled scarf arena, we were excited about the introduction of her lovely "TuTu" and "TuTu Solid" yarns. Now after listening to her customers' feedback, she's expanded her collection of gorgeous single hues once again with a more dramatic, shimmering version. Fantastic TuTu Lame yarn is superbly constructed of the same acrylic & nylon blend with 2% of metallic polyester added for some glimmer. "TuTu Lame" is the subtly glitzy, glamorous big sister of the collection for when you want to dress up any outfit. This fabulous auto-ruffling yarn is dyed in superb jewel tones with an added metallic touch on the ruffled edge. The end result is sophisticated elegance you can enjoy year round!
