    O-Wool Yarn

Formerly distributed by the Vermont Organic Fiber Company, the O-Wool yarn collection is now being distributed by the Tunney Wool Company. Still dedicated to organic products and processing, the owners of Tunney Wool USDA certified organic merino wool carries the "O-Wool" label. All O-Wool™ yarns are spun in USA mills that adhere to organic standards by using vegetable based spinning oils. Then the processed fiber is dyed using low-impact dyes without heavy metals and with a high absorption rate so that less water is required to rinse out these dyes, and less dye-stuff is left in the waste water. No wonder their company motto is "organic -- it just feels right."
